VISITING US
We are at Warmoesberg 49 (Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49), 1000 Brussels. It's about 3 minutes on foot from the Grand-Place and right next to the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert. The closest metro is Gare Centrale / Centraal Station.
Monday to Wednesday 9:00 – 20:00, Thursday 9:00 – 21:00, Friday and Saturday 9:00 – 22:30, Sunday 9:00 – 18:00.
No, we don't take table reservations. Just walk in, it's first come, first served. For a group or a party, you can rent part of the venue or the whole place.
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside and on our terrace.
WORKING FROM THE CAFE
Yes, laptops are welcome on weekdays (Monday to Friday). On weekends we keep the cafe laptop-free so everyone can relax and chat.
Yes, WiFi is free for all our guests. Just ask the team for the password.
DRINKS & FOOD
Right here at The Unusual! Our ube latte is made with purple yam from the Philippines. It's sweet, creamy and very purple. You can have it hot or iced.
We serve a black sesame latte at The Unusual, Warmoesberg 49. It's nutty, a bit toasty, and a nice change from regular coffee.
Yes, we make our own homemade soda in house. Ask the team which flavors are on today.
Yes. We have oat, soya, coconut and almond milk. Plant-based milk has a small extra charge, as shown on the menu.
We serve two blends from Wide Awake Coffee (Duke and Duchess) and one from Urkunina (Harmony). Good coffee, fair prices.
Yes. Most of our bakery is vegetarian, and we have vegan banana bread and chocolate chip cookies baked daily. Our dark hot chocolates are naturally dairy free.
Yes, we turn into a bar in the evening with Belgian craft beers, our own Unusual beer, wine, cider and spirits. Happy hour runs from 5pm to 8pm.
EVENTS & PRIVATE HIRE
Yes. You can book the downstairs bar (up to 30 people), the upstairs room (up to 120) or the whole venue (up to 150). Our booking form shows a price estimate right away.
Yes, a refundable deposit is asked: €300 for less than 30 guests and €600 for 30 guests or more.
Yes! Our Trivia Night runs on selected Wednesdays from 7PM to 9PM, in English. Teams of 1 to 4 players, €9 per person with a drink included, and the winning team gets a 20€ voucher each.
